Our Breeding Program

Where champion bloodlines meet ethical breeding practices. Producing exceptional Cane Corsos and Belgian Malinois since 1999.

Our Philosophy

Quality over quantity. Every breeding is carefully planned with one goal: to improve the breed while maintaining health, temperament, and working ability.

At P Field Kennels, breeding is not just about producing puppies—it's about preserving and enhancing two of the world's most remarkable dog breeds. Since 1999, we've dedicated ourselves to understanding genetics, health, temperament, and structure to produce dogs that excel in every aspect.

Our breeding program is built on a foundation of extensive health testing, champion bloodlines, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practices. We don't breed for profit; we breed for passion and the betterment of the Cane Corso and Belgian Malinois breeds.

Every breeding pair is carefully selected based on complementary traits, health clearances, temperament, and genetic diversity. We study pedigrees going back multiple generations, analyze health data, and consult with veterinarians and breed experts to make informed decisions.

Our Ethical Commitments

Limited, Planned Breedings

We carefully plan each breeding with the goal of improving the breed. We do not over-breed our females or produce excessive litters. Quality always comes before quantity.

Lifetime Responsibility

Every dog we produce is our responsibility for life. We require that owners contact us first if they cannot keep their dog. We will always take back any P Field Kennels dog at any age—no exceptions.

Careful Puppy Placement

We carefully screen potential owners to ensure proper matches. These are working breeds with specific needs, and we take the time to educate families and ensure they're prepared for the commitment.

Transparent Health Information

All health testing results, pedigrees, and certifications are available for review. We believe in complete transparency about our breeding program and the health of our dogs.

Proper Care & Retirement

Our breeding dogs live as cherished family members. When they retire from breeding, they continue to live with us or are placed in carefully selected guardian homes where they can enjoy their golden years.

Ongoing Education

We continuously educate ourselves on genetics, health, training, and breeding practices. We attend seminars, work with veterinarians and experts, and stay current with the latest research in canine health and genetics.

Quality Over Quantity

Since 1999, P Field Kennels has been committed to a breeding philosophy that prioritizes excellence in every aspect. We don't believe in mass production—each breeding is carefully planned with specific goals to improve health, temperament, and conformation.

Our breeding dogs are not just pets; they are athletes, show champions, and working dogs who have proven themselves worthy of passing on their genetics. Every dog in our program undergoes extensive health testing and evaluation before being considered for breeding.

We believe that responsible breeding means limiting the number of litters we produce each year, ensuring every puppy receives the individual attention, socialization, and care they deserve from day one.

What is Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)?

ENS is a scientifically proven program developed by the military to produce superior working dogs. From days 3-16, puppies undergo five brief, gentle exercises daily that create mild stress. Research shows ENS puppies develop stronger cardiovascular systems, more stress resistance, greater disease resistance, and improved problem-solving abilities throughout their lives.

Our Breeding Standards

We hold ourselves to the highest standards in every aspect of our breeding program

AKC & ICCF Registration

All breeding dogs and puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and International Cane Corso Federation (ICCF), ensuring documented pedigrees and breed authenticity.

Home-Raised Environment

Puppies are born and raised in our home, not in kennels. They experience normal household activities, sounds, and interactions that prepare them for family life from day one.

Limited Breeding

We limit the number of litters each year to ensure every puppy receives individual attention. Our female dogs have limited litters in their lifetime and retire early to loving homes.

Selective Placement

We carefully screen potential families to ensure proper matches. Not everyone is approved—we prioritize finding the right home for each puppy's personality and energy level.

Comprehensive Contract

Every puppy comes with a detailed contract outlining health guarantees, return policies, and care requirements. We take legal responsibility for every dog we produce.

Lifetime Support

We're available 24/7 for the life of your dog with training advice, health questions, and general support. You're not just getting a puppy—you're joining the P Field family.
